Exciting progress for June
We have finally moved into our office in Canterbury city centre. Our lovely space above Catching Lives bookshop in Palace Street (the crooked house) is now up and running with internet and donated IT equipment from ISS Global. We are always looking to recruit volunteers to work for our campaign so contact us if you would like to get involved in any way.
Dover Outreach Centre have commissioned us to carry out research to establish a need for a day centre there, based on the Catching Lives model in Canterbury. Currently Catching Lives is the only day centre in the whole of East Kent.
A second multi-agency forum was held at Catching Lives at the end of May. Once again we were delighted by the feedback we received from those who attended. Representatives from Canterbury Citizens Advice Bureau, Canterbury homeless charity Porchlight
and Together Canterbury came together to focus on 'what real support looks like in supported accommodation'.
Details of any further forums will be released here.
We continue to work with the help of donations so please click on the link below if you would like to help.
